Davidsans Japanese Maples specializes in hardy/ cold hardy Japanese and Asian maples as well as companion plants such as dwarf conifers. By doing so we can offer both JMs for typical growing areas and those northern areas that are on the cusp of jm zones.

Our other specialty is in offering a wide assortment of rare dwarf Japanese maples not available at most retail outlets at prices that can fit any budget. These trees allow even those with the smallest  yards or a very small amount of open space to grow these beautiful trees.

The goal of Davidsans Japanese Maples is to offer to the general public, the beauty, variety and satisfaction of growing the rare “momiji” – the Japanese Maple tree.

A small cottage industry, Davidsans Japanese Maples gives expert advise and personal recommendations that result in greater success. We have purposely strived to price our trees reasonably so they are affordable to anyone who has an interest. Seeing these beautiful trees successfully planted, cultivated and appreciated gives us pleasure that far out-weighs the need for great financial gain.

We will sell two to four-year-old year old or older trees locally. We also ship  one , two, three, five ans possibly sevenand ten gallon trees “semi bare root” outside our locality. We are not interested in offering liners or newly grafted cultivars either locally or via shipping. We feel strongly that doing so would conflict with our purpose and goals and would greatly cut down the success rate to all but the most experienced buyers. We are one of the few etailers that will ship larger trees and feel it offers our customers a better choice than the twigs offered elsewhere .  The result will be more successful transplanting with greater long term survivability in colder zones and a tree that you can immediately enjoy…not use a microscope for several years to examine it .
