Acer japonicum Ed Wood

Acer japonicum Ed Wood

This is another of Ed Woods selections, Large leaf form of Aconitifolium . It is a boffo Japonicum with very large leaves, I think larger than Vitifolium the largest of the large until now and cool spring as well as stunning fall colors... a fairly fast grower( faster than many Japonicum's) and just simply stunning in form and stature.Has HUGE leaves, If you want a REALLY BIG leaf cultivar that has boffo fall color this one is for you
This is a new plant for me but all the woods are very superior cultivars. It is a form of Aconitifolium All have the MO ( motis operand i) of having VERY VERY large leaves with stunning color .. I am sure this will be a keeper for you. SUPER LARGE LEAVES
