Davidsans Japanese Maples

This is an excellent hardy cultivar used by bonsai folks . It is one off the first and oldest cultivar's grown for it's beautiful textured bark. it also is a very nicely shaped tree with I think beautiful leaves that are ignored by most ( except me) They can't see the leaves for the bark.The pictures are of leaves... I do not have a plant old enough to show bark it takes many years for the bark really look super cool. But even as a leaf specimen the tree is very nice , hardy and colorful. Same as rough bark and similar to most of this ilk there are several.. have some larger ones now simply a great tree that can take sun and fab fall color that last long. I now will put this on my must have list
