A very different type of conifer deserving it's one product listing . Monkey Puzzles are both slow growing and not easy to grow .. Good cultural techniques are needed . This one is not for novices or those that shy away from challenges . But if successful you will have something no one else you know will have ever seen or heard of. It has super sharp needles so should not be used in the nursery. But if you can pass one without lightly touching the needles to see how it feels you would likely be declared brain dead . It is SO super cool . A must have tree for those that really want something different. Has been grown successfully in the ground as far north as Tenn . and as far south as southern Texas on the gulf and in pots throughout the country.
