Acer palmatum Aoyagi / Ukon
Similar to Ukon with bright green bark sort of a green Sango Kaku with much hardier traits. takes some sun and has beautiful leaf . the deference's to Ukon : a less upright and more sturdy look for and heaviness I believe differentiate the two but many still think they are the same ..I don't.. This is a super good slow grower of great form and substance.and can take some sun. a fav of mine. Translate to "Green" "Willow"
