Acer palmatum Beni kawa

Acer palmatum Beni kawa

This is a better red branched variety than most others and one I would recommend for all BUT northern areas ( I really have found all bright red branched trees do not do well in the north although some of the orange branched ones like Glowing Embers seem to do well). It has a very nice shape and the leaves are really pretty all season  So if you like red branches for winter color and great leaf color in spring summer and fall this is a good choice for a smaller nicely shaped tree... That will fit most spaces needing color all season.
