Acer palmatum Crumple Leaf (also see Ruby Ridge)
This is suppose to be the same as Ruby Ridge so I will go by that .. A small darkest of red spring color and a rainbow of fall color make this one a winner .. great for that smaller place and for those that appreciate a different rugose leaf form . I hate the name (Ruby Ridge) but love the cultivar .. it is definitely on the top ten of new introduction. It is a slow grower but VERY beefy sturdy and hardy . It does best with some afternoon shade.
