Acer palmatum Happy Corallinum
This is an improved version of the very pretty variegated Corallinum. It is much more vigorous which, to be blunt ,is a problem with the older less improved Corallinum.. I would still not plant this one in full sun.Although I have with no problems.But in the right setting ( some shade but enough sun to color) it is a truly cool tree that is much in demand.this is one I have grown to really like it is a vigorous grower and hardy and easy to grow Has extremely pretty leaves shiny and a bit crumpled very neat ( see photo). Zone 6 tree.
