Acer palmatum Higasayama

Acer palmatum Higasayama

This seems like an upright version of Abigail Rose . As like the Abby it is a  surprisingly pretty and hardy selection for a variegated JM . The spring variegated colors are phenomenal and truly different from any other JM that I have observed . The summer blushes are different from spring and  cool in their own right.  A must have JM that can be kept as bush or tree shape. This in my opinion is absolutely the best upright variegate. It is VERY hardy , takes some sun , very sturdy and compact just an all around winner . If you are looking for a smaller variegated upright JM this is absolutely the best choice hands down
