Acer palmatum Kokyo

Acer palmatum Kokyo

A spectacular newly imported tree obtained as a seedling from the Emperors garden in Japan .. It gets tall like Oshio Beni but in most places that takes years .. it is stunning all season long with a burst of gorgeous fall color. This is a must have tree for your yard that can take full sun.
This cultivar is new to me and to most others. I consider it a dwarf some may not. It is a small tree with very pretty delicate leaves but the tree itself seems hardy. Leaves are unusual with curvy shape giving it a flowing appearance. Very nice spring color.
