Quercus robur General Pulaski (English Oak)

Named for the 'father of the American calvary', General Casimir Pulaski, this tree has ruffly leaves that grow directly from the trunk.  It creates a tall columnar tree with deep green leaves.  A site to see.

("The name is as strange as this tree such unique leaf form a true Knock out or should I say shoot down .. the general rules. Thick, ruffley bunches of deep green leaves grow directly from the trunk and make a very tall, strange columnar tree." ... David's original statement.)
